Perfect Wedding Guide lunch today

I had the pleasure of attending the Perfect Wedding Guide networking lunch today at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown where many wedding vendors from the Philadelphia area came together to share ideas and network about industry trends. Susan Southerland, an A list event planner form Orlando was on hand to speak to our group about how to make brides happy. I was seated with Karen from SusanBeard Design,Mark from Talamore Country Club,Tracey from Shedding for the wedding, Christy from the Manor House at Commonwealth, and treated to so o so yummy razberry and almond wedding cake by Bredenbecks Bakery and Ice Cream Palor.  Click here for more photos!

Gforce Beginnings

Soul Patrol

Before Gforce there was Soul Patrol

I ran across this photo of Soul Patrol. This band was the my first trio after my solo career in Atlantic City. Featuring Patty Balbo and Bugzy on guitar and vocals, we had a wonderful vocal sound and played a lot of weddings, parties and night clubs back in the day. When Bugzy and Patty left the band my wife Lynn started singing with us and we added in guitarist Tommy Garofalo. We played music all along the Jersey shore and in Philadelphia. Eventually the small band grew into a larger band. By 1998 we were 10 pieces! Those were the days!

Gforce gets a new drummer

Drummer GirlNot really but we had a great time jammin with our little drummer girl from the Irish bagpipe team who presented colors for the annual Rahway PBA Dinner Dance. We play at this event every year and a young lass named Jen always askes us to sit in with the band.
